How To Stay Positive When Things Go Wrong?

It is easy to be happy, cheerful and carefree when everything is sailing smoothly in your life. Needless to say you are like that happy bird frolicking in the vast sky. But when the strings of your life are pulled too hard and you are in the face of adversity, its difficult to continue maintaining your calm demeanor and put that smile on your face. And the once happy bird transforms into a tortoise which retracts into its hard shell, trying not to face the word. Does this sound familiar? WELL, you are not alone.

Retracting is never a solution. Yes, initial it may help you to ponder over the matter at hand  to find out a solution, but not for long. So what can be done to get out of this adversity that has suddenly taken you under its wings? The first and foremost thing is to try and get back to your normal self and then think over it.

I have not seen a single soul who doesn’t light up on seeing fresh flowers. That’s the irony of life even. Bloom till the time you can and lighten up other’s lives. Because tomorrow it might wither. So why not stay happy. In the search of the perfect lives, we tend to lose ourselves.

Talking of fresh flowers, why not have some surround yourself each and every day. It will instantly brighten up your mood and perk you up. Voila!

Stop Comparing Your Life With Others

This is perhaps the biggest cause of grief for human beings. We talk about it, preach it, but when it comes to us, we just can’t help ourselves an start comparing. Everyone has their share of sorrows and griefs, and trust me, if we were to switch our griefs with others, we would prefer our own. So stop comparing.

Stay Motivated

To deal with the problems at hand, you need to feel motivated. And motivation comes in various forms. One can listen to motivational speakers. I am a big fan of Sandeep Maheshwari. Or you can grab a book, there are so many of them. Take your pick!

While these solutions might not solve your problem, but they will provide you with the energy to accept the challenges and move forward with resolution.
