Don’t Make Excuses

People, across the globe, make excuses for something or the other. But what is the purpose of making them? Definitely, for a work which is not completed; either on time or on purpose. Many times we blame our failure on someone else. Yes, at times we are dependent on waiting for completion of a task at someone else’s end before we finish begin our task. Even in that scenario, there is no point of making excuses. WE can state the facts as is.

For some people excuses is a habit, more or less, a part of life.

“Why were you late?”

“There was so much traffic on the roads.”

“Why didn’t you do your homework?”

“I was sick.”

Yes, children are also not far behind to use the strategy of excuses. But adults/ parents should refrain them from doing so as it tends to become a habit in the later years and can lead to a lot of problems, either be it in family/workplace.

Instead of making excuses, we should try to achieve something we really want to. Lets say, we cannot control the traffic on roads, but what we can control is the time we start from home and that make a huge impression on the person we are going to meet/ at your workplace.

So stop giving excuses and start telling the reality! People will appreciate you for that.
